![]() Hi Richard, Request to support Customization of keyboard short cuts or at least disable. Thats the only way of customizing keyboard shortcuts in Solar-PuTTY right now. I feel like there could be added at least some guide into implementing this behavior for users who want to.Įdit: Plus, Ctrl+W is being used in Settings, and it doesn't feel natural to use different keybindings in different places (text editors and setting page). we have recently released updated version of Solar-PuTTY, in Settings->General you can find checkbox Disable keyboard shortcuts. terminal emulation software (such as the HyperTerminal of Windows 2000) on the PC. In the exercise, you will login, find out the IP of the Device Server, change its flow control mode, and log out. And from what I see, I was not the only one. By default, the reverse Telnet function is disabled on a router. I really felt that it was a bug because it felt very unnatural for an unused vim binding to not be used for default VSCode keybindings. It's not like Ctrl+W is any more useful in normal mode, is it? So why not just use it for default VSCode behavior? Feel free to open an issue for that though!īut in this case though, I think it would feel more natural to have both. I think if we fracture it further and allow you to disable certain keys in certain modes it is going to start to get pretty complicated. So if you're using the combo in your game for something all I can recommend is that you pick another combination as a web page shouldn't be able to prevent. ![]() It's just a shortcut.Ĭ-w is a vim command, you can either choose to use it or delegate it back to vscode. 'Ctrl + w' is a chrome built in shortcut to close a tab so I don't understand what else you expect the key combination to do. The point is that the same goes for Ctrl+W VSCode shortcut. Yes indeed, I doubt though that many users haven't changed made a shortcut of :q to just a leader command for the sake for doing it faster.
